How to Replace the Xiser® Pedal Retainer Band

Before You Start

Before replacing the pedal retainer band, place your Xiser® stepper on a clean, stable work surface with enough room to open and close the pedals. Make sure the machine is not in use and that the pedals are fully supported.

• Work on a flat, stable surface.
• Keep small parts organized while you work.
• Inspect the pedal area before installing the new band.
• Do not force the band into place if something appears misaligned.

What the Pedal Retainer Band Does

The pedal retainer band is a simple but useful part of the Xiser® stepper. It helps hold the pedals together when the machine is folded or carried. This makes the unit easier to store, move, and transport.

If the band becomes stretched, broken, or missing, the pedals may not stay together as neatly when folded. Replacing the band helps restore the intended storage and carrying function of the machine.

1. Place the Xiser® stepper on a flat, stable surface.
2. Fold or position the pedals so you can clearly access the retainer band area.
3. Remove the old or damaged pedal retainer band if it is still attached.
4. Inspect the area where the new band will be installed.
5. Install the new pedal retainer band in the same position as the original band.
6. Check that the band is seated correctly and is not twisted.
7. Fold and unfold the pedals to confirm the band is working properly.

If the new band does not appear to fit correctly, stop and contact Xiser Customer Service before forcing the part into place.

When to Replace the Pedal Retainer Band

You may need to replace the pedal retainer band if:
