Xiser Mission & History

Scientifically Engineered High Intensity Training Since 1977

Xiser was created from university-level biomechanics and exercise physiology research to build a better stair stepper exercise machine: compact, durable, low impact, and capable of true high intensity training.

Our Mission

Our mission is to build fitness equipment that respects the science of human movement. The Xiser stepper was designed to help people train harder in less time by using powerful leg muscles, smooth hydraulic resistance, and a compact low-impact stepping motion.

Built From Biomechanics

Every part of the Xiser design reflects a focus on efficient body mechanics, straight-line leg force, balance, and controlled movement.

Made for Intensity

Xiser is not just a casual mini stepper. It is designed for short, hard efforts, high-speed stepping, and serious HIIT-style training.

Manufactured in Colorado

Xiser continues to focus on American manufacturing, serviceability, and long-term durability instead of disposable fitness equipment.

The Science Behind the Xiser Stepper

A proper high intensity trainer should do more than move your feet up and down. It should allow the body to produce force safely, quickly, and repeatedly while engaging large muscle groups.

  • Uses the powerful muscles of the legs and hips
  • Supports low-impact cardio training without pounding the joints
  • Allows fast stepping for anaerobic and HIIT-style workouts
  • Uses hydraulic resistance that responds instantly to your effort
  • Compact enough for home, office, travel, and athletic training rooms

Founder Story

Founded by Biomechanist Dr. Juris Terauds

Xiser was founded by Dr. Juris Terauds, a biomechanics researcher, professor, inventor, and athlete whose work connected exercise science with real-world human performance. His goal was not to create another ordinary stepper, but to create a compact machine based on how the body actually produces power.

That research-driven approach shaped the Xiser High Intensity Trainer: a portable stair stepper engineered for durability, efficiency, and serious training.

Why Xiser Is Different From Cheap Steppers

Many low-cost steppers are built around price. Xiser was built around performance, serviceability, and long-term ownership. That difference matters when you want equipment that can handle real training.

Durable Materials

Xiser uses strong metal construction instead of relying on flimsy parts that wear out quickly.

Responsive Resistance

The resistance responds to your effort, allowing both easier cardio and harder sprint-style intervals.

Long-Term Support

Xiser equipment is designed to be maintained, serviced, and used for years instead of thrown away.

A Better Stepper for High Intensity Training

Xiser is designed for people who want more from a compact cardio machine: better engineering, stronger construction, and the ability to perform short, demanding workouts without needing a large piece of equipment.

For HIIT

Ideal for short, intense stepping intervals that challenge the legs, lungs, and cardiovascular system.

For Home & Office

Compact enough to keep nearby, making it easier to add quick training bouts throughout the day.

For Travel

Portable enough for people who want to maintain their routine outside the gym.

Built From Science. Made in America. Designed to Last.

The Xiser stepper is more than a compact cardio machine. It is a research-driven high intensity trainer built for people who value performance, durability, and intelligent design.
